Runs poor when hot??

I've been fighting with my 93 katana 600 so far this spring (mostly carbs), and the last week or so it has been running damn fine. Today, it got it's hardest run, still nothing outrageous. About 30 minutes at highway speed (OK a bit more than the limit - maybe 85 mph) then 15 minutes around town. All this on a fairly hot day for here/now - maybe 25C or about 85F. After all this driving, it just quit at a stoplight and wouldn't restart. I'm thinking plugs? I think this partly because they're the only thing I haven't looked at since I got the bike. Anybody got thoughts on this? I don't think it's carbs because early this morning it ran perfect (on roughly the same trip) when it was about 30 degrees cooler out. But, I could be wrong. HELP?!?!?
