I never thought I would hear Jerry Pallidino admit this.
That is usually true of me although last year I toured up from the Niagara area to north of Toronto which was a four hour drive so a bit over 200 miles or 320 kms. This year I am heading to Halifax and that is 1800 kms one way but most of my riding is closer to home which is usually to the store, my friends or rides around 60 miles. We have a convention in a few weeks which is a 1 1/2 hour drive each way. (130 kms)Agree, and I think the same thing can be said about Goldwing drivers!
It doesn't matter which bike you ride. That is sad. I only rode drunk one time and I got a severe case of road rash out of it and still have a little scar on my arm to remind me to never, ever do that again. Riding a motorcycle takes a lot more skill and attention than driving a car so even a little alcohol can be a dangerous thing while riding. If I have a beer or a glass of wine while I'm out on my bike, i always give it an hour to make sure it's out of my system before I get back on.There is a bar called Charlie's near me. I have gone by there on a BEAUTIFUL Saturday or Sunday morning and there is a bunch of Harleys parked outside.
Several hours later I'm headed home, on the same BEAUTIFUL day, and the same Harleys are still parked there. All those guys have done all day is sit in there riding a bar stool, getting drunk. Many of those bikes probably never go any further from home than to that bar.
I don't think so. He is just very experienced and that has been his job for many years and he is dedicated to it. That is no different than people dedicated to jobs in other areas. The guy is Amazing
