How tight should cam chain should be? Manual cct ( honda cbf 125)

I bought a manual tensioner since I have issues with the automatics fail to soon. My question is how tight should be the cam chain when engine is at TDC . Should I be able to move the chain left and right with my hand or should have zero slack ?
By the way I know the procedure to install the manual cct , just want to make sure the chain is as tight as it should be.

I installed it today . Put engine at TDC tighten the cct by hand until I felt pressure on the guide .Then rotate engine by hand and tighten the cct by hand if there is any slack ( actually it was in a few points while rotating the engine ) .Once all slack is removed back off 1/4 and its done.

Tried to move the cam chain by hand and it feels snug but not super tight.

Engine sounds so smooth now :D:D
