Hey everyone,

so as the title indicates my 82 Honda Sabre has a gas leak. I went to go start it today, and once it started gas was pouring out VERY quickly from the left side of the exhaust. I tried searching for this problem but i didnt find anything.

Is one of my carb float bowls stuck? Thats what i initially thought, but Id like to know what it is for sure before i go into the carbs, its a real pain in the butt.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Look on the bright side, you’re cleaning out all that built up carbon in your pipes! :D

Seriously, carb float would be the safest bet. Stuck or has a hole in it, or something large blocking the needle. You’ll need to just start with the most likely culprit and start eliminating stuff as you go. Could be something as simple as vapor lock in conjunction with something causing the exhaust to be the path of least resistance.
