The INNOVV ThirdEYE was a breeze to set up on my 2022 Triumph Rocket 3, and it's easily the best purchase I've ever made for my motorcycle. It operates seamlessly right out of the box, without any hiccups, and delivers consistent performance. I use it daily for my morning and evening commutes in Las Vegas, NV, under heavy traffic conditions, and it's become a trustworthy and essential safety tool for me.

With just a quick glance, the ThirdEYE informs me if someone is approaching from the left, right, or rear using easy-to-read lights and a distinct audible signal. Initially, I was worried it might be irritating or provide too many or too few alerts, but it's proven to strike the perfect balance by only warning me when a vehicle is approaching at a relative speed.

One of my greatest concerns has always been the possibility of getting rear-ended at a traffic light, but the ThirdEYE alerts me if someone is approaching from behind at a potentially collision-causing speed, giving me ample time to react or prepare to move if necessary. This feature alone justifies its cost.

The price is outstanding for the value, installation is straightforward, and its operation is faultless. INNOVV has done a fantastic job with this product. I plan to install one on every bike I own in the future, and I believe every manufacturer should consider incorporating it as a safety feature. I've attached pictures of my installation.

Do you disable your lane departure warning on your car and not use it too? Trust but verify, I agree! I never rely on gadgets for safety, however it does make a huge difference in my daily ride for awareness, especially when another bike sneaks up on my six before I notice them or a car comes in too hot behind me while I'm waiting on a light to change. I had really low expectations that this would be useful, but it's amazing.

I do not have this gizmo to disable, it just is not a feature on my cars as it did not exist. I have been in an almost accident in Denver CO. Alameda Ave and Sheridan Blvd (just a very prominent event in my mind) a car was coming up fast I was watching my six and moved up between the car as I moved up they hit the cars I split between. I am glad this works for you but, I will rely on my own two eyes and awareness and experience. I keep it in gear and watching always until everyone is stopped around me then I still watch since people are crazy.

Edited for clarity

What's rear warning range? as in how far back it looks?

Is there lateral warnings? One of my biggest concerns is crossing intersections and being hit by redlight-runner from side.

The radar is pointing backward, so it is looking specifically for any object that is approaching at a certain speed from either side or directly in the back. It will indicate red for right, left, and both flash if an object is approaching at speed directly behind. I thought it would be really annoying and show false reports, but it has tracking algorithms that can track multiple objects at distance and speed. For example, If I am riding alongside a car at the same speed or more speed, it will not show a warning; however, if I am riding along and a car is approaching at a higher speed on either side or behind me, it will light up. Same goes if you are stationary at a stoplight, it will warn if a car approaches on either side or directly behind. Overall it just makes me more aware.
