Ok so I have a 1981 GS850GL. I just bought it a few weeks ago and it's been a blast. Been ripping it around daily.

Two days ago I tried to start it and it was really hard to start. The bike was just turning over, but close to starting. It eventually started, and I took a rip.

Yesterday, it would only turn over and wouldn't start. It wouldn't even try. Tried till the battery died 😔

I pulled a plug today, and there was no spark. It turned over! But no spark.

Where's a good place to start?

Switch is on. Lights work. Dash lights. Turns over, has lots of gas.

Thanks!

Well it isn't one of the safety switches, because it wouldn't be turning over. Put a multi-meter on your battery and tell us how many volts it is reading.
