Thanks Rex a lot of time and unfortunately money but I like it. Gonna add more lights to the rear in the near future.
Yea lights are next for my r1, just ran out of money this week, next week I will have some blue on my baby
Yeah I understand the money part. I have boogie lights, the best led for m/c's. The lights I have installed is $550 installed with lifetime on lights and two yrs on install.

Chrome on sport bikes is a big no no Rex. Your bike and your money :)
Had wanted one of these for a long time, and finally found a deal on this garage queen. Love it!!! Virago 750

LOL, trust me they weren't that expensive....I like the look of chrome but not too much, thats all thats going on there...no chrome rims or anything else to add weight, plus its looks pretty slick I think
okay, so here is the new tail light!

i opted to not add the resistors. i like the faster blink of the signals. the tail lights light up brightly when on, and nice and dark when off.

I like the lights, I was thinking of the same thing on my r1, but IM not the biggest fan of LED's in the tailights...wasn't too impressed with them on my gixxer
would you say that they were more, or less eye catching to other drivers?
i am curious because i havent used them before, and visibility is important to me. sometimes the aftermarket signals are too small, and hard to notice to be anything more than a means to pass a safety inspection... but these are quite bright. i just wonder if the fact that they are in the tail makes them harder to notice.
If they are done right, and are really bright, I like them....but the guy who owned my gixxer before me didn't have enough power going to them and it was hard to tell the difference from the tail light to the brake light
Custom painted my clear taillight to black and it looks good as well.
