yes they were gravity feed.. the thing to remember is that you want to keep the bottom of the fuel tank close to the same level as the top of the carbs.the higher you get above that, the greater the fuel pressure will be at the inlet needles in the carbs, which can lead to flooding.

yes, I have an old 1977 yamaha xs360d motor Im putting in a 6 wheeler, Can you tell me if the motor was gravity fed gas or was there a fuel pump. Thanks Doc
