Who races? 250b here with RMXA ( Rocky Mountain Motocross Association)

Hi,
I raced in the 70's. Local Yamaha sponsorship. AMA District 7 and 13 (Md.,Va.). I was a 125 and 250 expert (a class).
David Bailey was one of my fellow competitors back then along with many others -- I've raced Lake Sugar Tree many times as well as many other tracks like Budds Creek (before it was a national track). Anybody remember Cedar Ridge, Sparks, Antietem, Bausum Farms (probably not!)...I also raced the Florida Series and up in Penn. (Tony D country). I currently live in Los Angeles. Hope this site takes off

If I was younger, I would love to race. I wasn't into bikes when I was younger...now I'm just too old (38) to race these young guys...besides my wife would kill me

My mom was never too happy with it and was always a nerves wreck on race sundays but as u can imagine dad was behind me 100% of the way.

I have just started racing. No sponsors yet though. I've only done 2 races so far.

Your first sponsor should be the shop where you buy parts. You'll be buying levers, cables, all kinds of stuff. When a shop gives you a discount, that's a sponsorship. At least 10% & 25% would be nice. Get some wins and doors start to open. Good luck and DON'T break a leg.
