Why doesn't Honda make a Gold Wing Scrambler? Ok, I'm kidding. Seems like every road test I read about a "standard" style bike comes with comments "Where's the scrambler?" Even if it's a 500-600+ pound road bike. But I am curious. If Honda put high pipes, knobby tires & a beak on a Gold Wing & raised it 8" would anyone buy it? Would that be the ultimate adventure bike for exploring the world? For me, no. Anyone else?

If they raised it 8" I would have to carry a step stool with me to get on and off. Not to mention learn how to drop it exactly in the right spot at a light.

Well I'll be, I guess you aren't the first person to think of something like this:

I'm not sure you'd want to lift a Goldwing. That would make it hilariously top heavy. You'd look at it the wrong way and it would tip over. Not to mention needing a ladder to get on it because it's not like the seat heights on them are particularly low when stock. xD
