My opinion is as long as the front tire matches the rear you should be ok.

Those are the standard cruiser sizes. I run a HD branded Dunlop K591 on my HD, but I've also run that tire on my XJ600. It's a bias ply, but has a lot of grip in both dry and wet. I got about 8K on the rear on the XJ, and now have at least 4K on the Harley and still have lots of tread left.I got the tire sizes
The front is 100/90-19
the rear is 130/90-16
and I run a barracuda or a kenda is good to
a barracuda is what i run it is a softer rubber
and the kenda is harder can be slippery when wet
