What helps your wrist pain?

Back into riding, and getting the very painful and uncomfortable feeling in my wrist when squeezing my clutch. Having to use my palm to maneuver it because the pain is unbearable. Other than my wrist getting stronger overtime, are there any really good exercises or ways to significantly reduce wrist pain? I always shake it out and stretch at lights.

I found that incorporating a semi-regular routine (3-4 times/week) of serious stretching and exercise for my core helped immensely. I was putting way too much pressure on my shoulders/arms/wrists when I first started riding. It was so bad I thought I'd have to sell the bike and get something more upright. A couple years later and I'm in much better health and using much better body posture! Wrists no longer hurt, so win/win!
