What fuel mileage does your Motorcycle get?

I ride an XL 1200R and get a solid 49 MPG on my daily commute, mostly interstate highway.

2023 Kawasaki Versys 650LT: 50 to 60 mph cruise in 6th gear yielded 57 mpg.
70 to 80 mph Interstate ride yielded 50.7 mpg.

The fuel mileage will undoubtedly get better when the engine is broken in. As of now, it has
250 +- miles total.

87 octane pump gas with 10% Ethanol used like I have in virtually all of my past bikes.

Rebel 250 backroads + 115 lbs rider = 60 mph highway is 60 mpg, and backroads 70-100

Absolutely no idea....No fuel gauge! (just a speed estimator 😃)
All you need is an odometer to figure out your mileage. Or an app on that Smart phone you always carry with you.

Whatever tells you the exact number miles you rode from the next-to-last time you topped off your fuel tank to the current time you just topped off your fuel tank to the same level (e.g. right up to the edge of the opening in your tank .)

Note how much gas it took on that most recent fill-up. Just read it off the pump.

We do have a smart phone . It's smart enough to stay on the table where it lives .
The wife tries to remember to take it along when we leave for an afternoon or such . ;)

My phone is a Sony J5 that I've had from the 90s 😃 (phone and text only).
To be honest, I don't go far on the old plodder anymore. So MPG is not an issue. Although reading some of the previous posts, it's incredible how technology has evolved to improve MPG, without seemingly reducing proformance.
But I will remain faithful to my 1951 bike, (until I can no longer use the kick start). Complete with it's oil leaks, concrete suspension, and aero dynamics of a telephone box! 🤣🤣🤣

It would be a crime if you didn't . ;)

I've never bothered to calculate the mileage of my Triumph 883 but would like to know approx how far I can go when the low fuel light comes on. I know this number would vary all over depending on a lot of factors. I don't like ethanol and usually run the non oxy premium.

Being as your bike is likely different than any other , you should do a calculation .
It's the only way to know for sure .

Yes, I wanted to know how far the reserve would take me.
I found out by strapping a Jerry can on the back seat, and riding till empty!....28 miles ✅

I thought about that but decided against it because running out of gas can damage your fuel injectors and cause other problems if sentiments are sucked up from the bottom of the tank. I'm glad none of that happened to you.

Agreed. I would not have done that with your Triumph.
Mine is simply a gravity fed carb with a filter, so the risk was negligible.
