I'm a new street rider. When I stop at a destination with my half helmet I stash it in my very handy hard pannier bag. But when I am out with my full face lid, I never know what to do with it after I park. If it's just a quick stop I might hang it on a mirror, but in other questionable situations I don't feel comfortable doing that. Bringing it in the store or building or whatever is inconvenient and clumsy. so, what do the experienced riders do with your helmets when you get off the bike for a bit?

What we're leaving out is where it's parked. Out here in the West, due to the lack of large cities, there are a lot of small towns where nobody even locks their house. Rarely do I lock my helmet. Usually it's when I'm on the road and most of the people around are from somewhere else and just passing through.
