Unfortunately all I can do is just LOOK at my bike and I’m both fortunate and happy to be able to do so. Had a really bad accident on the 20th. Was stopped waiting for a car in front of me to turn left. Was hit by a Chevy Tahoe doing 60+ in a 45mph zone while “distracted driving” (on the phone!). Hwy Patrol said there were NO skid marks prior to impact. They had to extract me using jaws of life to pry open and cut the door off to get me out. Have broken ribs, whiplash, PTSD and a back injury, so I’ve been just lying around on pain meds.

Dang. Glad you are still on this side of the dirt. Distracted drivers appear to be worse than drunk drivers these days. I even stopped drinking beer because I don’t want the slightest chance of being a drunk driver. Well, not really stopped drinking beer, just the alcohol variety. Nothing but zero alcohol types now.

While technically not today, I finally disassembled my *(%^$#%^ phone to get at the photos I took of my DRZ on the way to the height reduction surgery. Being a KISS kind-of guy I prefer cameras for photos and phones for telephone conversations. The do-alls fit in with Shopsmiths in my world. My actual camera is at the doctors because it was in my jacket pocket when I fell down at zero-mph... which directly relates to the upcoming surgery. It was a nice day, about as colorful as The Bitterroot gets, and with pleasant above-50 temperatures. I pulled off the side panels so The Motorcycle Garage wouldn't have to.

Couldn’t agree more. The Hwy Patrol Officer came into my ER room and said “he was surprised to see me in that condition. He expected me to be a lot worse given the vehicle condition.”

@Bitterroot Bugler Your picture is fine, but your camera was too affected by UV. Just needed some filters to bring the color back out!

I HATE that phone. I had my Canon in a jacket pocket for a zero-mph fall. It is in the shop.

I often steal my wife's camera as in interim solution. All I had on that ride was that cursed cell phone with built-in camera. This was a been-there photo, not a wall hanger.
