Well, I took the Snorty on a 90 mile ride, aside from the bit o' hi-way I needed to get off the cape,
I took all back roads, 6 & 28 are the same thru Buzzards Bay and Wareham at the west end of
wareham 6 and 28 fork off, so I stayed on 28 to the middleborough circle then 44 west thru
Raynham and into the east end of the Taunton green and a rotary as well. Had some nice hotdawgz
then headed back to the cape, Next ride will be to Attleboro same as b4 to Taunton then in Taunton
140N to 123 West in Norton str8 into Attleboro for more hotdawgz. Yup the coroner will say he
overdosed on chilli dawgz at Tex Barry's Coney Island.
The Sporty ran fine, gettin 44 a gallon, I used 14 gage wire between Stator and RR. no problem with that.

I replaced the OEM shocks on my 2003 BMW R1150RT with a set of gently-used Ohlins. Took it for a short test ride and then adjusted the damping. The real test comes this weekend when I ride with the BMW club to Marietta (OH) for a weekend of riding in WV. We're going to hit the triple nickel (OH Rt 555) on the way down. I sure hope the weatherman is wrong about all the rain in the forecast.

My buddy landed these vip passes, and would take me to the local college baseball games. All the free hotdogs, peanuts, chips, and beer, you could eat or drink. After a few games I would ignore the games and just hangout and down an obscene amount beer and dogs. He doesnt invite me to the games anymore.

Speakin of eatin and the weather getting cooler, I might need to get back into a bikers breakfast,
Bacon, ham sausage and homefryes with mixed in egg and chedder cheeze.
And coffee! But you got to know your limits with coffee. For me, when riding, a cup or two is fine, any more than that and I'll be stopping every couple miles to relieve the pressure. Or maybe it don't effect you like that?

Got my Sonic foot long chili cheese dog with mustard and onions last Monday, so I'm good for a while. Best part was, my sister was buying so I got some tater tots too!
Hello Retired Guy, did you or anyone else see a post by Jeremy Quinn, messed up his 883
and looking for help yet came acoss with a nasty attitude? He is also at FB, I laid him out
in lavender for his attitude saying he wanted some help and if we were ignorant,
well for a new guy to come here with a nasty attitude looking for help. I told him in FB
that if he was thinking about how to ride safely instead of coming off as a tough guy,
he may not have had to lay'er down. yup he is SO mad at me... like I care?

The first time i saw that silver Giant was about 5 years ago with my R3. This little silver Giant, my R3, R7, and now Suzy, have been bike rack mates ever since.. As far as i can tell, the bike has been ridden hard, never maintained, and never washed. I never found out who the rider was.

Don't recall seeing that post right off but I slept pretty good last night, so ... I don't do the facebook or twutter thing. I heard one of those places has some kind of a jail. I have heard some people talk about being jailed for saying something I agree with, so I'll just let them have their facebook or tweeter or whatever it is.

YUP, the right to speak one's mind is not so slowly fading away, Facebook wants to
come across like it is whiter than a preacher's sheets yet allows all sorts of scams.
I don't bother with it much but something came up and it what this guy said here
was the same as his FB page. nothing good there.

Was planning on riding the bike to church this morning, but it seems I'm developing a little problem. Last Monday I went to see my doctor and I may be getting a lazy eye. You know, I really don't mind getting older, its just all the other BS that comes with it I don't like.

I finally took my first outing since Pike's Peak ... Colorado eastern front over Labor Day Weekend was not friendly to my novice status ... nor my injured back. Having returned to my much more coherent highway traffic zone, I was waiting for the back to feel a bit sturdier. I decided Today was The Day... took my favorite run up the hill to the Idaho border and back. So Sweet to get back in the saddle, feel the wind, lean a bunch of turns and twist the throttle some. Ah yes, that is The Good Life.

I would have included photos I took, but my camera is in the shop recovering from my back-injuring fall and my wife says, "Use the camera on your phone". I responded that I don't know how to get photos off of it, but took the pictures on that cursed device anyway. After a couple hours of she and I pounding on it, there are still no shareable photos. Did I mention that I intensely dislike cell phones???

Do it my way....
I don't need a cell phone.
I don't WANT a cell phone.
I DON'T HAVE a cell phone.
My phone is where it belongs, on my desk wired to the wall.
Call and leave a message. If I feel like talking to you, I'll call
you back.
