It is, it's such a change from all of my bikes.
I'm starting to wonder if there is room in the garage for another one... N= N+1 rule

Well, lifelong dream fulfilled yesterday.
I’ve had my daughter riding on the back around the neighborhood since she was 4.5.
Lived in San Diego and she rode her first trip to see her grandpa at age 6! 5.5 hr ride and she did great. She’d always talked about getting her own bike.
Well, she passed the MSF course and got her license and her bike! Yesterday we went riding for a couple hours on some gentle windy country roads and she did great and loved every second of it.
Looking forward to riding the Blue Ridge with her this fall.

Yesterday I rode some twisties to meet my friend from church and her five boys (#6, another boy, is on the way) about three miles into Arkansas for some "Girl Time". Retired Guy dropped by for a bit on his Ultra, and we girls had surprise brief visits from our loving husbands who were working in the vicinity. It was a beautiful sunny 75 degrees!
On the way home Sheldon got a bath finally, and will get his spring waxing tomorrow, as well as swapping the winter windscreen for the summer one. They took the rain out of forecast, so I may have to do a Target run when I'm done. 🤞 Bug got his bath yesterday morning and gets his spring waxing and summer tie dye floor mats today!

The last four days here have been windy as all heck.
I just got back from a short ride for groceries, but with the wind pushing me
all over the road, it sorta takes the fun out of it.
Won't get much chance to ride this weekend. The PLUMBER is coming
to begin the installation of the new heating system at my house.
"They" installed natural gas pipes and the meter to my house waaaay back
in October. I've been fighting an ongoing battle to get a plumber here
to install a new heating system so I get this mess over with.
Let me tell ya, I've never had so much trouble getting someone to take
my money!!

Excellent . But , don't do that or those plumbers will be there for ever trying to find the leak . Then you'll end up having to feed and house them .

Put just over 160 miles on the CRF 230 yesterday. Odo ticked over 14k but no pic as I only do that for the 10k's. Great weather made it easy and my comfortability on gravel made it fun, but my butt was a little tender by the end of the day!

Got out for a couple of hours to get some wind therapy. Out riding slow around the horse farms of Chester county. Really nice day. Got some good pics too.

Today I rode down to MSR Houston (a private-ish car club track that also hosts M/C roadraces) to watch the CMRA races. Saw some good close racin. Those boys (and some girls) are fast. Made me yearn for the old days when I wore a younger man's leathers. I wanted to do the spectator lap so I could really see the track layout but it was scratched due to rain delays (give riders time to change tires) and clean up time from a crash that put oil on the track.
I did learn of an organization that hosts track days at COTA. That's less than 200 miles from here... Humm 🏍
