What did you do with your bike today?

I started it and went for a ride to find out why the water had been turned of .
Found out that a leak had been going on and they finally found it , so they turned the flow to off fopr a half hour while it was being repaired .
I just stopped back here to tell you guys that as I know you're likely starving for anything to read . ;)

I'm headed back out for another ride to get something , because I'm sure I can convince my wife that we need something from somewhere . :)

Rode to get a haircut, then rode some more. It was about 60 degrees and sunny. 45 minutes of much needed wind therapy.

We were off today and it was 60f and sunny, so of course we rode out for a nice lunch then back home, and I washed the last 3 months worth of salt and road grime off the winter bikes. They will probably get salty again but it’s a start at least.

Took a little ride to the hardware and back .
Heard a strange sound coming from the rear . I haven't had a chance to look , yet , but , I'm thinking one of the brake shoe springs decided to relieve itself from further service .

56F this morning, yesterday's 1" rainstorm is done, the roads were wet but other than that it was a great day to ride.
Tomorrow MIGHT be OK, then Thursday night into Friday we are getting 4" of snow and ice.
12F on Sunday
I think Mother Nature is going through her change :)

I rode it. Popped a couple of small wheelies . Lol terrible at it but trying to get my control better for when the trails open up so I don't have to lift the bike over downed trees. Haven't been riding a whole lot other than a bit of commuting this winter. Finishing grad school and my thesis has a tendency to eat up any "extra" time I have. Looking forward to being done with school so I can get some more seat time in. Also...

Today we were riding on rubber and having a great ride, then we started clearing a new area called the Ore Chasm

and then it started snowing like crazy and we had a heck of a challenging ride just to get home

but that's ok because it means we'll be riding studs tomorrow  which is equally fun.
I assume you have a spare set of wheels? Glad you're still out in the woods. All our public trails are shut down til mid April.

Loved every minute of it!

I took my 03- CBR954RR out & met up with 2 other mates, one on his 05- R1, & the other on his 18- ZX10R,
& we hit the Pacific HWY to the Gold Coast, At that time the weather was spot on for riding. "HEY"! there's nothing better
than out with good friends, on bike's, with excellent weather, & the only bad thing is that day's such as those are always too short.

I hooked the tender up, might be a couple of weeks before I get it get it out. The weather will be good enough to ride and bike is running good, but I found out it's not been legal for the last 8 months. I bought it in pieces with a Virginia title, built it, got insurance, inspection and registered in Texas. After 3 months without getting a new title, I contacted DOT and Virginia wanted pictures of the bike. Waited 5 months and called DOT last Friday. I have been riding it for over 8 months, talking with DOT the whole time, only to find out the application for title was denied and the only title I have for it was keep by Virginia and the only way to get my title was for the original owner to go to Texas Dot with his identification, apply for lost title and sign it over to me. If I had gotten it from a stranger instead of a friend, I would have no proof of purchase and most likely lost it. As it is my friend loses a half days work to go fix a mistake made by Texas or Virginia and I've been riding almost a year with reject plate and can't chance riding my bike till it's straightened out. I guess I feel lucky that some disgruntled cop didn't pull me over and impound it.

Discovered my battery tender was not working earlier this week. Today, I got two brand new battery maintainers. One for my bike and one for the wife's bike. Now when it warms up a little more, and all the snow, sleet and ice is gone, I'll put them to good use.

Rode to work this morning at 0300 in a not so bad 40F, rode home at 1600 with 1/2 my gear in the trunk in a balmy, sunny, 56F day, and the traffic was even lighter than usual.
All in all it was a beautiful day to ride to work.
Well, went riding to do some errands and also get the “picture challenge”. 😁
Got home and did an oil change and then started adding some lights to a “dark area” I circled on my bike. Unfortunately while playing with stuff one of the lights and connectors went bad so I’m having to overnight parts so I can finish before a huge group ride on Saturday. Looks to be 75-80 bikes!
On a side note, there is an “Outlaws” MC clubhouse 1/2 mile from me. I’m not a member but know a few of them and apparently many of them know my bike. They’ve already given me a name…. “Christmas Tree”! Lol

Yep, I'm always finding an excuse to do errands on my bike "for the family". Today I rode through the twisties to Target to drop off recyclables and pick up a few things (and talked with one of the Branson singers we see on TV every Sunday night! He was kind enough to give me advice for my kid, the budding musician. (y)). The sacrifices we make for our families!!:giggle::ROFLMAO:
