Breakfast : I had homemade cinnamon french toast and scrambled eggs , with coffee to round it out .
Sorry , no bike involved , at least for the next couple weeks as they are are all strapped on the trailer as we head for Texas . I did happen to think about them . Does that count ?
Oh , did I say we aren't in a hurry to get to 90+° temps ? ;)

Oil change today and checking the bike over.
Have added a few things to the Fat Bob. Modified the luggage rack and added a quick release 37 L SHAD top box. Installed a solo Saddlemen seat and sheepskin cover. Added the Captain Itch heat deflector and a .8 gallon gas container. A winter project will be to paint or powder coat the top box mount.

Looking for another gas tank for my XT350 .
Found the tank bottom looking more like a sieve than i recall . :(

Does anyone happen to have a gas tank that will fit and are willing to sell it to me ?

Thats a good looking clean machine. I like the auxiliary fuel can too, matches the bike and doesnt stand out.

The latest in "The Alternator War".....
So after much googling, I found a place in Tom's River NJ
that had a REAL JAPANESE HONDA alternator. So I ordered it
Monday. By Tuesday it was already in the Post Office parcel
center in Teterboro....and there is sat for the rest of the week!!!
I finally got it yesterday, Saturday. I could have driven to
Tom's river and back a dozen times!
I held my breath as I opened the box, wondering what I had
actually received....drum roll....YES! A Honda alternator made
by Hitachi in Japan! Rare as hen's teeth for a 22 year old bike.
So yesterday afternoon I rushed out and installed it on the bike.
(Only takes a few minutes)
I started it up to test. Working good!
WE BE ALTERNATIN'!!
Ran inside to change my clothes to go for a short test ride.
Came back out 5 minutes later.
IT'S RAINING!!!...AGAIN!!!!
Put the bike back in the shed.
I can't win.
Today, Sunday, was supposed to be the bike club picnic
in a park a few miles from here. This event was rescheduled
several weeks ago due to rain. Guess what?
Yup! Canceled AGAIN because it's supposed to rain today.
This summer has sucked big time.
I'm headed out to the local diner to meet with some of the group for
breakfast, Then it will be back home to watch the rain come down.
(damn)
As long as it doesn't rain INSIDE the diner, we should be ok.

All right! Hopefully the alternator saga has ended once and for all! Now we just have to do something about the weather!

Thank you!
I'm very happy with the fuel can. It came with a mounting bracket, fits well in that space and no leaks! The Fat Bob only has a 3.5 gallon tank so I think it will be useful.
