Thanks. It would be a lot happier if I could go out for a long ride.
Looks like it's going to rain right into Sunday morning.

That must be where our rain went. It's been some miserable weather lately! But it's nice at the moment 😁

Same old, same old, Perfect riding conditions here, waiting impatiently for people to show up to go riding, then I'm going to make my motorcycle all dirty again so I can clean it again.

It's a rough life but somebody has to do it.

I worked very late yesterday, it was almost midnight as I walked to the employee bike parking area, only to find this in my path.
Kind of ominous ....

Did you take the challenge or walk around?

No neighbors in sight🙂 I might get to bale my hay meadow twice this year, it's pretty thick for late May!
Did you ever think it might be you?

They said on the news that today set a new low temp record for the area.
The previous low was for May 29th, 1950.....the day I was born!

Happy Birthday a day late George. My wife reminded me that I'm living on borrowed time. No male in the lats 5 generations of my family lived past 72. I feel like I'm 95 or what think 95 would feel like. And time is just flying by. Wake up in the morning and the next think I know it's time for bed yet it feels like it's just been a few hours since I got up. But Happy Birthday George!!!!! (y) (y) (y)

Grunted, sweated, and wrestled on some new Pilot Road 4 GT tires yesterday, took it out to warm it up today, topped off the tank, changed the oil, and cleaned and lubed the chain. Gonna meet my old college roomie in west-central Illinois on Tuesday, and we're headed for Colorado, Utah, and Arizona for a couple weeks.

It's an annual affair.... a couple years ago, we did Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.... last year it was Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Don't know how he's going to hold up.... he had a Harley bagger before, but this spring, he traded it for a new Softtail something or other. After this trip, he might consider something more "tour-like".... we'll see. I put almost 7,000 miles on the Versys last year, and must say it's a good touring bike, although I kinda miss the brutal power of the Concours 14.

Out here in eastern mass, nevuh got to do a damn thing bike-wize.
Friday night into all Sat and Sun. Mother nature fingered herself
into a thundering orgasm with heavy rain, lightning taking down three
trees, symbolic of messing up a three day week-end.
Had the weather been good I would have rode to Taunton, had a few dogz
at Tex Barry's coney island hot dawgz then headed
north on rte 140 a 107 mile route, the southern end going 20 or so miles
from Taunton into NewBedford, been there done that, a good ride 'cept
for the last 3 to 5 entering Taunton, a pigs breakfast of a road for sure,
probably no longer part of the Mass Hi-way system north of 140 and rte 24.
on/off rain and damp today so yeah . . . a really messed up holiday week-end.
