I read some place that little toes were made to make sure furniture was in the right place. :)
I got one that would agree with that. Sucker got infected from stubbing it on the leg of the bed. Doc thought I was going to lose it. Would probably have been better if I did. 😥

I have a deadly piece of furniture, a wrought iron bakers rack with scroll feet that stick way out. The darn thing is bloodthirsty for toes....

10,000 miles in 6 months on a sport bike. Some people don’t ride them 10,000 miles in 6 years.
You are clearly a rider :)

You can say that again!
Congrats and keep going!
(In my best old man voice..."Harumph! I remember those days, when my bike had ten thousand miles on it. (sigh)...)
LOL!!!

P.S. A couple of years ago, a friend of mine bought a '98 Goldwing with just a hair over ten thousand miles on it. That's a 20 year old bike that had only been ridden 500 miles a year!! Why oh why...What kind of person buys an expensive bike like that and then parks it in the garage for twenty years??
When my friend brought it home, I asked him what museum he stole it from.

We went to the peninsula this weekend in search of clean air and didn't find any. We got home last night and the AQI was over 200. We were hoping to ride to our AA meeting but decided to drive rather than breathing the outside air. It's supposed to start raining today and it can't come too soon. We are overdue for a ride once the air clears up.

My buddy in Port Orchard said it was raining there but here near Tacoma still no rain. Good news is the sky is almost white again!! I guess that's something.

The smoke has reached the middle of the country. Sunsets are supposed to be real pretty right now, but I haven't taken the time, or remembered, to go out and look.

I was just looking up at our clear blue sky with a couple fluffy white clouds and thinking it all looked dingy up there!

Just order a backrest. It will take a week or so to come in. On the longer rides I've done the ole back lets me know it's there. On my Georgetown trip. I carried a pack, and on the way back I stuffed it so it was close to a backrest. Boy did it feel good.

On my AZ trip I bought a pad that would attach to my luggage and create a backrest. It took a while to find the sweet spot for it but once I did the whole trip changed!!

Amazon said it shipped already. Maybe it will hurry up and get here.

I thought about actually doing this. Taking a small pillow along and a few bungees to the front of my pack.

Getting in some good miles since I fixed the Burgman. Saw a Honda PCX in person for the first time, too. These things look so neat!

I finally rode the fabled Pig Trail today! I met up with Retired Guy in far SW MO; Porky was going to join us, but is still under the weather. 😢 RG was kind enough to escort me through the hills and hollers of Arkansas on his 2010 Electra Glide. At the scenic overlook on AR 23, after a photo op, we had a brief philosophical discussion about the preconceived notions one has about other riders based on age, sex, and what they're riding. Lemme tell ya, guys, he does NOT ride like a retired guy on a bagger!!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I was working to keep up with him and it was a BLAST!!! We found a Mexican restaurant in Ozark, AR where we stuffed ourselves full of tacos. I got to take the lead heading back north; since I knew what to expect, I felt more comfortable doing my thing, and RG was right with me (Rumor has it that he actually found sixth gear on the return trip!😉). After a quick pit stop in Huntsville, AR, we ended up in Eureka Springs where we chatted with some riders from Texas before parting ways. I forgot to set the second trip odo, but plugging in my route on Googlemaps shows that I did about 297 miles! And my body is quite aware of that as well. It was a GREAT day, a GREAT ride, and I made a GREAT new friend!:)

Well I'm sure glad RG got to show you that not all guys riding EG's are slow and you got a nice ride out of it. I used to love opening the eyes of other riders myself about the abilities of EG's. Way to go RG! (y)
