Did the Sylvania Silver Star ZXE Upgrade on the Front Lights .. Easy Plug and Play, and Cost $80.00 rather than 500-800 like some are paying .. Might be just a Tad Short of JW Speakers LED Option but for about 10% of the Price Quite Happy main reason got them was to be seen better in Daylight which is does well .. I seldom ride at night anyway but it is far better than OEM lighting there as well ..

Looks good, Joe!
I have all the parts here to change my Goldwing to LEDs, but I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Nice looking lights Joe, I agree with Eye, they look BAF!
That reminded me that I did mine last week, I went LED though. Bulb changes are a real pain on a Vision, takes a few hours so I’d prefer to only do it once. They are bright too, I still need to re-aim them a bit. Other than that it’s just been riding to work mostly, it was 26 this morning but a gorgeous ride under the stars anyway.

I think only the Roadmasters come with LED, my wife's Chieftain didn't have LED either but she liked the factory LEDs so she worked them into the deal, the dealer installed them.
They are good, nice and bright with a good pattern but very expensive from the dealer if you have to pay the full price.

Having changed a Headlight on the Vision for a friend who had no clue , don't blame you a bit for only wanting to do it one time ..

Which method did you use to change the Vision bulb?

The official shop manual way is how I did it the first time on my black bike, basically take 1/2 of the bike apart, change all the bulbs, then put the bike back together. Costs a fortune if people take it to the dealer I bet.

The cheat method still isn't easy but if you take out the air filter, adjust the light up to make more room, and can see with your fingers while up to your armpits inside the fairing contorted like Houdini and working with only one hand you can change them without taking anything apart. It took me a while but I did it that way this time on the blue bike.

I imagine that with practice it gets very easy, and I bet a lot of people pay the shop rate X a couple hours for a 20 minute job.

I got burned by those Silverstar Ultra bulbs once too, they are somewhat brighter, but they only lasted a couple of weeks. Maybe they work better in a car but they don't like motorcycles at all, probably the vibration.

I put an "Xtra Vision" bulb in mine a couple weeks ago. It made some difference. Not gigantic, but enough to tell. I tried the "SilverStar Ultra" bulb one time, complete POS. Didn't even last 2 months. Waste of money.

And changing bulbs isn't something you want to be doing every few weeks. It's not that easy on Indians either. I was just pleased as could be that the Roadmaster was just fine the way it came. Just knew I'd be wanting to change but nope.

I had learned the Cheat Method from another Victory Rider .. But helps if you have long arms and narrow fingers , which I don't but still got it done ..

Well the Sporty was needing a wash an wax job so that is what I did Monday afternoon. So with everything I needed sitting on the tailgate of my truck I spent a few hours cleaning her up, The Nev'rDull does a great job on most metals like chrome and other metals found on a bike, Turtle wax on the tank an front fender. while letting that dry I cleaned the tire rims by that time the polish had dried and I buffed out the tank an front fender with an old H-D shirt. That came out looking just fine as did the chrome on the header pipes just b4 the mufflers. I think I'll check out two new mufflers from H-D or maybe V&H shorty's whatever's the best deal. Later this week I'll get the Wide Glide looking the way I want.

hello, today I took my new chopper for a spin around town and got invited in a little crash. The helmet however was a total sham very weak and it didn't even survive the crash, I got it from a website with poor delivery service too, check it out.
