Thank you, I will get it figured, what pisses me off is that the tail lite could have either had holes
to run bolts through but they had to use studs with a rinky-dink clip that is just about impossible
to attach, most likely so they could be paid to attach it.

Seems like you got the wrong bike . I had a hardly , once , Never again .. Love my Shadow..

Oh I would not say I got the wrong bike, just that H-D is too horny for $$$ and it seems they
have no issue about mkg parts cheaper. I never had a shadow but a Honda 360 Scrambler,
bought bran' spankin new from Bettencourts in N.Attleboro mid 70's I know nuthin bout the
shadow but if built w the quality they put in the Scrambler, u have 1 damn nice bike. a neighbor
has one and loves that bike. they are a good lookin bike.

Got mine at 22,000 mi. Now has over 50,000 . Oil and filters , gas , 1 battery , 2 tires . Never a bike problem ....

Funny how 1 can get so aggrav8ed with a situation the madness clouds ideas.
Apparently the studs on the tail lite are of aluminum, so with a small hand grinder
I think I can remove them then drill a hole through where they were and bolt the lite
as it should have been done a few days ago, Just got up so I'll have my coffee
then go on out and work on this. Happy labor day everyone!

Looked at all the pretty bikes , sold off my YZ 450 F . Replaced missing bolts on a PW50 . re routed cables , filled oil tank , checked & replaced air filter . Rode it around yard . Fired up the rest , just to hear them purr ......

Nope, I did think of getting a set at `1 time, well the motor unit and a bunch of fittings.
maybe I thought they were just for hobbyists like model railroading not for bigger projects.

They are for the finer , delicate projects . For everything else , HF light duty ....

Not too bad today , only 90 , just had a brief shower , orchard needed that . Grass farrm as well ....

Realized my first real benefit of having a nekkid bike yesterday! Dropped the forks out and changed out the oil without needing to mess with a single piece of... oh, wait, I did have to remove the front fender plastic... but still, super easy and went smooth as butter. Was a little anxious since I'd never done it before...

Thats why I prefer dirt bikes , . It just takes time , paitence .. Good job .....

In my younger days I ran old tires until I saw cords no matter the age . Never had a failure , couple of scary skids , But survived them all ....Not today , at 70 , I can afford tires , I like my Shinkos , little over 10,000 mi. No problem ....
