Start a tow service. You'll have plenty to pick and choose from. Seriously. Not very many bike specific tow services.

well, towing motorcycles requires like a specialized trailer...I have a 24' tandem. It should have a cover though huh... I will have to build one.

I should put some kind of hoist on it to lift say 1000lbs?

What are the rules regarding machines that are totaled and the owner just wants rid of them?

And that land will have to be zoned for a junk yard....err salvage yard

I have 5 acres of flood plain that is covered with about 3 feet of water for 1 month out of the year. I was considering making a dike out of old bikes to route the water off the raised section of the yard. Call it "Salvage Island"...

Salvage

Parts need to be stored inside and a bit warm in these parts. Otherwise they will rust and or turn green, reducing their value.

what is the half life of a motorcycle frame in a flood plain?

Maybe I should dig a big pit and call it "Bike Rust Lake"...

just toss them in there after a week or so...
