I took the fairing, side covers and some other bits and pieces of my r80rt. Are any of these bits and pieces worth anything or should I just scrap them? As you might be able to tell I'm am new to the bmw world.

Sure they are. There is always someone looking for parts to replace damaged parts. If yours are good that is. It they are busted up then not so much.

are there a few parts that people are always looking for? I know with old Hondas it was fork boots, grab handles,etc.
