My bike states an oil capacity near the sight glass. The problem being, it says 3.4 litres. Which is correct for a completely dry (when new) engine. When doing an oil change and with a filter change it takes only 3.0 litres. .4 litre stays in the nooks and crannies and doesn't drain.
