I would not waste anymore time explaining why he should not have added four quarts of oil. Every poster has given solid advice as to what should be done. Adding four quarts of oil because it looks low in the sight glass is asinine. I think you're right Larry, this guy is just making "conversation," as poorly as it is.

I was surprised to learn that this ZZR600 takes 4 quarts of oil plus filter. I guess that may be where he got the idea of putting 4 quarts in the crankcase. He took a shot, but it may have hit his foot..

That is a pretty powerful little bike. Weighs almost 500 pounds with just a tad under 100 hp. at 12,000 RPM. Dig it...
