But this one is mine.
2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 500.
Chose it because it has a great reputation as a first bike, with great durability reviews for the engine and hardware.
Took it out in a lot to practice weaves, serves and emergecny stops from the BRC for a few hours, then on local side streets.
Why I waited so long to get one, I'll never understand.
(The highway bars are from Greg's Custom Cycle Works in FL, and they did a fantastic job!)

(And I'm geared head to toe - First Gear Hi Viz jacket over Fox Titan armor mesh, Draggin Jeans kevlar over Bohn Armor mesh, TCX boots, Scorpion kevlar and teflon gloves, Scorpion EXO helmet.)

A friend's first bike was a Vulcan 500. She put a lot of miles on it before stepping up to a bigger bike after 4 years of riding.

Eye - they would match the theme of your bike.

Thanks, Jo6pak.

Eye - I had to order them custom. No one makes good Vulcan 500 highway bars. I was lucky to find a good shop.

I'm certainly glad I didn't have those bars on when I went down. I would have more than a shattered leg, I would probably lost it completely.
