Unbelievable what this bike sold for at auction, and how Fast it would run too.

Thanks SortaFast but most folk call me TR. I'll take it as a typo. No problem, just messin' with ya.

There is one on my Island.
Also try and find Barn Job and Clem Johnson. He ran one at the strip for many years, and made many changes.

Personally, I think the Black Shadow was a major contributor to getting me interested in bikes, TR. Like a lot of boys in the 50's, I had a paper route. At least twice a week a guy would ride his bike around the neighborhood in the early morning hours. Whenever I saw him, I would stop my bicycle and watch him. He would run up and down the street a couple of times just so I could watch and then disappear. Black leather pants and jacket. Black helmet, and a black motorcycle with the name 'Vincent' on the tank.

To this day, and I'm 73 yrs old, i can still see the beautiful engine and hear the mechanical sounds of that bike in my mind. It was like no other.
