Well, I'm not going to lie to you . . . it isn't the easiest thing in the world, but it isn't REALLY hard either. It looks like your seat has one of those chrome strips around the base on the outside . . . you know what? Why don't we take this back up in the 'personal' email section if you would like more detailed info. I'd be happy to take as much space as we need to help you get that done if you're interested.

How did you get it that low? I have a project and trying to find short shocks is difficult

i found a royalblue one at the shop with two white stripes going down the back. the forum wont let me post the picture.

Thanks! I bought it when I was 15 and rode it through high school and college. Now that I'm in my 50's, I still ride it about 400 - 700 miles a year. It splits time with the other bikes I own. It took my wife and I on our first date back in 1975.
