My GZ250 was running fine and then I forgot to pick the kickstand up before taking off. So the kickstand safety switch turned the engine off as I tried to roll off. I then proceeded to start my bike again but this time it did not want to start. The bike just continuously turns but does not fire up. It is just super peculiar to me why it would not start anymore right after that because it isn't the first time that I forgot to kick the kickstand up. Looking for any and all advice to pursue multiple angles in trying to resolve it. A buddy of mine cleaned my carbs and we even shot some starter fluid in to the engine but no luck. I'm hoping that maybe I am missing something really easy. Thanks for the help!

Disconnect the kickstand switch and jumper it see if it starts then. I would start there

Might be too obvious, but is maybe the GZ250 will only start in neutral...I'm assuming when the engine cut out you were still in gear?

Yes I made sure it was put back in neutral. So the bike is actually cranking/turning when I hit the starter but it's just not firing up.

Sounds like the starting circuit cut-off relay fried. Get out your multimeter and check the relay for continuity.

The relay is all good as well
