It might be a usb driver issue. Does the PC itself recognize that something is being plugged into it?

 

Nope, maybe its the usb chord? I'll mess with it later when i can either get into the garage, or when it cools down outside (90 something high today)

 

Since USB is plug and play, Windows should recognize that something is plugged into it, even if it doesn't recognize what it is. By default, Windows will pop a message box up as soon as a device is plugged in.

You could always try to manually scan for new devices through the device manager once the device is plugged in and powered up. That's a long shot though.

 

thats what Dynojet said when i emailed them. I need a new chord and the bike needs to be on and running. Thanks. I knew it was something stupid. I took a class and am certified to run a dyno its just been a few years. Brain fart!

 

new usb cable, new map and it runs smoother.
