I failed my first try. My test was done through the riding school. I was on a Honda Rebel the whole time (I'm 6'2") and none of the instructors noticed that was WAY too small for me. I was super nervous and yeah failed it. Ended up taking a one on one make up class with a new instructor who right off the bat said "That bike's too small for you, let's try this dual sport Yamaha instead, just go for a practice run, no pressure, just see how it goes". Did the run, stopped at the end and the instructor was like "Well you aced the test, what else do you want to learn for the rest of this class?" Ended up getting a bit of advanced training that they didn't even teach in the main course, and also ended up acing the driving test later on.
