I am considering a small generator driven by a wheel that is lowered after highway speed is reached, this would have to have an isolator on the battery, and a special voltage limiter form the main harness...

Any brilliant ideas, wiring schemes or cap driven powering platforms that can save me---or make me---9 amps?

I found an old WWII communications pack in a garage sale along time ago, I saved the hand crank generator, and found that I can whip up over 2 volts just by hand. So I think I should try the old lead wheel on a fan idea, maybe I can entice the old megger out of enough amps to drive my meeseley 3 spare tails and 2 spare turns without eating my battery up.

Or, you could just use high-brightness LED bulbs, and not worry about the power draw. I replaced all the bulbs in a camping trailer with LEDs, and reduced the power from about 30W continuous, 75W peak during braking, to about 3W peak, so the trailer lights didn't bleed the battery on the towing bike.
