So I'm not dead.... :)

It has been a few years since I've logged on and I decided to log on a couple days ago and I had private messages from a few people expressing concern for my disappearance. Just wanted to say hello and apologize for scaring anyone.

After my 2nd daughter was born 2.5 years ago, I picked up a 2nd job and started working 7 days a week. Plus, both my bikes have been down for awhile. So I just kind of fell out of the loop.
So how is everyone? Looks like a few others have disappeared too (Eye and Dodsfall).

Welcome back Sig, lot of us missed you. Yes those two are gone. Eye is still on Facebook, don't know about Dobs. anyway stick around and keeps us company
Welcome back, Sigma - good to see you log on!
Glad to see you back on the forum. Welcome back!

Working 2 jobs 7 days a week! Shh! Keep your voice down! I don't want anybody to think that I'm a slacker.

I think I still have Eye's phone number lying around somewhere. I'll give him a call one of these days.

Thanks,

Glad to see you back on the forum. Welcome back!

Ah, it hasn't been so bad. I like both my jobs :smile_big:
If you can't find his number, you can contact him via the messenger app on facebook.
Glad you're back, we really missed you!!!
Glad to see you are okay Sigma. I totally understand the need to stay away from social media. It can become addicting to say the least. I'm sure Dods and Eye are actually relieved to not have to be here every single day if truth be known.
People come and go; seems to be the nature of all internet Forums. But especially in the area of motorcycling, there are so many things that can get someone to stop, or have to stop riding that I'm not surprised when someone disappears from the forum. Not long ago one of my best riding friends sold his bike, possibly never to return, at the demand of his wife when their second child was born. Another good friend has developed medical issues that have kept him from riding for a few years now, and possibly forever. My third riding friend is in a new job which has left him almost zero time riding, so his new tourer just sits in the garage totally unused. I'm sure similar things have happened to riders that are part of this forum, and while for some, keeping up on the forum may be a second-best connection to motorcycling, for some it just becomes a reminder of what they can no longer be doing.

Welcome back! Now get to it and make up for lost time:grin:

A lot of us are FB friends now and also have shared email addresses, just in case we decide to exit this forum or are kicked out:crying: We have PM'd each other to share the info privately.

Lol, I've never had a Facebook page and don't think I ever will. I also don't have a cell phone. I would make a really good recluse
Glad you're back, we really missed you!!!
You too, Moni

I don't know how much I'll have to post. I haven't ridden much for the last year. The bobber grew clutch issues a few years ago and I haven't been able to figure them out and I blew 1st and second gear in the ZX9R and then wore out the clutch having to start off in 3rd. I actually pulled the engine out a couple weeks ago and have everything to fix it except the time.

If you don't have his number, pm me your number and I will pass it on to him.
Welcome Back.. Since the departure of Dod and Eye I don't come here as often, but still find this forum fun and interesting , just not the same missing both of them ..
Eye says "hi" was going to call you when they came through your area on their way back from Canada. But he lost his phone a couple of trips ago and your number with it.
Welcome back!
