I have a 95 KTM 400 RX/C (Single cylinder enduro) that has returned home. It's been at a neighbors in non-climate controlled storage for 10 years. It ran when he put it up. Anyway the first thing I wanted to check before cleaning the gas tank and probably cleaning and rebuilding the carb was the compression. It tested at 75 PSI. Bad. I threw some oil in the cylinder head and I got 116 PSI. I'm ready to toss it as I don't want to tear down the motor. I watched a youtube video though that said the compression test is recommended on a warm motor. This guy got 55 PSI on a cold Yamaha and 125 PSI on the same bike warmed up. I can't warm up the bike so I'm not sure whether I should continue or not. Any suggestions? Thanks
