newbie in arizona here. just bought a 1995 intruder 800 and want to know how to adjust the gear shift lever. i know it attaches to the shift shaft with a through bolt and mates with the splines on the shaft but how do i get the lever completely off the shaft in order to rotate the lever? it looks like it will hit against the footpeg bracket before it comes off of the shaft. thanks in advance for the info.
