Hey everyone. I am looking for input. My 1985 shadow vt1100 was not stored properly for a couple of years. Put new gas, oil, plugs, air filter, and battery and got it started. It died anytime I gave it any throttle. Pulled off the carburetor and gave it a thorough cleaning and replaced the seals. Started up and idled much better. When I give it throttle now, there is a delay before the rpms rise. It also stalls if I remove the choke when warm. Looking for advice on what to check next. Could a fuel pump or fuel filter cause this? Is there something else I am overlooking? Thanks

Ya, it sounds like it's running too lean for whatever reason. I would definitely check those out, and also look for intake/vacuum leaks around the carb. Sounds like something still isn't right.
