It's usually straight forward. You may have to remove the footpegs and shift lever.

Drain the oil first. Make sure all old gasket material is completely removed, being careful not to damage the aluminium, since it is really soft.

Use a new gasket and make sure the bolts are snug, but not over-tightened.
