Yes. My 81 XL 185 has an aftermarket plastic tank. The original is metal and looks way cooler, but I like the larger plastic tank and won't care if it gets dinged up. Sorry, I don't know where to get one.
Replace stock
Is it possible to replace a stock gas tank? I've searched everywhere to find a decent gas tank for my motorcycle 85 Magna v45 and not having much luck. Does anyone know a fabricator that builds replica gas tanks?
