Phone in the pocket, voice-only navigation, how do you keep phone charged?

I've recently started using my phone for voice-only navigation. I connect it to my headset and then ride. The phone battery gets discharged pretty quickly (~2 hours), so my current ultimate solution is to connect the phone to a powerbank, and put them both to the pocket. This does the job.

I'm looking for a solution that would use my motorcycle's USB socket instead of a powerbank. On my motorcycle, the socket is in the middle of the handlebar. Thinking about maybe having a cable go from the socket, through my jacket's sleeve, and then to the pocket from the inside of the jacket. Probably not the best idea in case of crash, as it attaches me to the bike. So maybe add some magnetic connection, so that as long as the tension is normal, the cable stays connected, but in case of emergency the tension increases and it detaches easily.

Ideally looking for some real life solutions that you use. Thanks!

A USB/phone cable should work nicely for you with plenty of extra wire.
I wouldn't consider a usb connection something that would hold you on a bike in a crash. There's tons of handlebar mount options available that most people do, and not the in the pocket option.

I agree with cattzap
I use one of these
Take care and ride safely
I use this one and it's very adjustable and solid

I tried the X mount and it wouldn't stretch oped far enough to hold my Note 20 Ultra in a Otter case. It would hold my brothers i Phone. He doesn't have a case on it, but it seemed not too sturdy on bumpy highways so he switched to the same one I got

I have an X mount and think it works just fine. I also bought the rubber bra thingy that is supposed to provide extra holding strength but it broke after about 3 uses. They are cheap and I could have ordered another one but haven't bothered.
It may depend on the roads you go on and how your particular phone fits it. We get to some back roads on trips that aren't maintained, with lots of potholes and sometimes they are unpaved, although we do try to avoid those. Riding thru Shreveport with thier roads, I wouldn't have any phone in a holder, roads are so bad there. And his panties, what I called the rubber thing, would quite fit his phone. If you get it on Amazon, try it and send it back if it doesn't work for you.
