So I’ve got an idea for a ridiculous show chopper trike and I think the math works out to cram the Ford 300 inline 6 and an np435 into that gs1100. The numbers seem to fit should just be a “simple” matter of having the wheel barrow “bed” welded on and a custom swing arm to hold the ranger rear axle on. What are some opinions on this and does anyone know a good shops in the Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton area of PA?

No way Jose, that Ford, 300ci. straight 6, with bellhousing, clutch and transmission would be probably 6 feet, end to end. Have fun!

Sidehack would be easier design to make work but either way you're going to need to use the engine as a stressed member, because no way is a recycled motorcycle tube frame ever going to carry it.

Looks like a project you could put a lot of time, money and effort in to and then end up with something you just wouldn't be happy with.

mike721, wow we are close I used to work at the Forks Dollar Tree lol. I learned about a custom chopper shop close by I might check out on my next day off see what they think
