I bought a 1998 Valkyrie new in 98. Two years later in 2000 I wanted to get a 1998 Shadow 1100cc ACE, color matched to my Valk, for the wife. Had my dealer check with other dealers to see if they had a leftover Yellow/Cream
Shadow. Low and behold there was a 1998 yellow and cream ACE in the crate at another dealer AND it was just on the otherside of Denver.
The dealers worked a swap, wife got a 'new' 1998 in 2000 with a full warranty. My dealer nade a sale, wife got her 'new' 1998 Shadow in 2000, I got a matched set like I wanted. All was right with the world!
You can still get that '07 new next year if you still want that model year, you just need a dealer that will go the extra mile for you!

Hey Horse racer.decided on a bike yes! 07 honda CBR1000RR. Called the local honda dealer to do a prequal credit check they told me id have no problem come on down. so me and the misses go down they have one 07 left because of the october blowout sale the CBR1000RR's are marked down from $11,699 to $9299 what a deal I sit on it love the feel talk to the salesman love what im hearing about the bike. talk payment I like the monthly ok lets do it. five minutes later they come back because of my lack of credit and only being 21 I can only get 7k without a co-signer. sigh talk about dissappointed. so my fiance trying to cheer me up said next season we wont have any problem getting a loan. shes right I guess I can wait, I go home get on honda.com start looking at the 08's and don't like what I see they rounded the front and they did away with the underseat exhaust and now have a short side exhaust like the gixers. Tough night
