Greetings All,

riding since 2001, started with 1100 v star... (stoopid) ... then sold to get a Dual Sport DRZ400s. really got into it.. did events.. and I believe.. is how I really learned to ride.. blast.. But had to ride about 30 min to Pine Barrens of NJ.. where much DS exist.. although any back woods around me will do... sold that.. took break... but as soon as I sold the DRZ, got the itch.. got a Duc Scrambler 1100 sport... with full Ohlins front and back... although advertised as a mild DS.. it's primarily a street bike.. love it..

Lately, however since my old ass is getting up there.. 55, more interested in honing skills and while keeping speed down..

discovered MOTOgymkhana..

I'm sure.. many of you have heard... but doesn't seem so much around me...

joined here in hoping to hook up with, start up or just getting advice.. networking...

glad to be here all.. hope forum is as cool as what I've seen so far...

WELCOME ABOARD, and...

Other members do like to know they are welcoming a real person so thanks
for letting us know a little about yourself. Normally just a few more
posts(count of 3) and the rest of the site will open to you. This is the sites
spambot control. Unfortunately it is needed today. But you have to make 15
posts before you can post pictures. Right or wrong it's considered a privilege
to be able to post pictures. Unless you use Tapatalk which somehow
gets around that restriction.

We are friendly site here. Well, most of us:grin:

You are only as old as you think you are.
If you think you are old at 55, then you had better slow down! LOL!!
Me, I was born in 1950 and I'm 29 years old, and I can still drag the pegs on my Goldwing.
In fact I did last week on The Tail Of The Dragon in North Carolina.
Welcome to the forum, from the northern end of New Jersey!
Post a pic of you and your bike when you can.

thanks for warm welcome gang... yup.... looks like a cool place to be... gonna be lurking for a while.. as there seems a bit more info than dedicated ADV forum I usually contribute to. But hey... I guess it's like its name...

yup.... getting to love the Duc everyday... chose it over the R9T, as I favored the Beemer's look...But everytime I hop a leg over my Bellissima, I feel good ... maybe because I'm upright.. as when on a DS, enabling to flick it around, and push the handlebars down on a tight turns. On a different note, she sings and rumbles like an tuned bike... the cacophony that comes out of her pipes are just a joy to hear...

yup... getting up there... but hey... not dead... I refused to sit behind a screen and read about the rest... I still wanna feel the grit in my teeth, encounter the many mosquitoes on warm summer nights... and yes the wind on now my hairless head... I'm still alive and will be while... riding...

so thanks again gang.. for the warm reception...

Oh yes.. will def show pics of my bellissima... once allowed... hahaha...

Would love to see a pic of your bike. I was next to a young guy riding a Ducati Monster the other day and I really dig that bike.
