Hey Everyone. My name is Joe and I live near Fredericksburg VA. I'm 58 and have been riding since I was 15 ( so, likely longer than some on here have been alive ). I ride a 2003 Heritage Softail that I bought new in '03 ( my first NEW bike ) and have spent the past 16 years making it "one of a kind" -- Bored and stroked to 106", Baker 6-speed gearbox, HPI 55mm intake, TMax tuner and D&D FatCat. I did every bit of the mods with my own two hands and it's just like I wanted it to be, loud and fast. I came here hoping to be able to help others with their project, loan any of the special tools that are necessary for work on a Twin Cam and offer my two-cents. Anyone in the Fredericksburg / Richmond, Va. area that are interested in riding, let me know. If you are looking for a back seat, I have one open.

Welcome, Joe! I'm about an hour north of you in Winchester. Hope you are taking advantage of the cooler temps and getting some serious riding in!

Sounds like a sweet bike and would love to see some pics!

WELCOME ABOARD, and...

Other members do like to know they are welcoming a real person so thanks
for letting us know a little about yourself. Normally just a few more
posts(count of 3) and the rest of the site will open to you. This is the sites
spambot control. Unfortunately it is needed today. But you have to make 15
posts before you can post pictures. Right or wrong it's considered a privilege
to be able to post pictures. Unless you use Tapatalk which somehow
gets around that restriction.

We are friendly site here. Well, most of us:grin:

Thanks for the welcome Doc and Hogcowboy. I will post pictures once I am able ( I don't know if I can send them to you in a PM or not and would rather not use Tapatalk ).
I've been averaging around 100 miles or so a day on two's, to work and back and taking "the long way" home. I'm into burning a tank or two in any weather but, my bike really loves this cooler air for sure and, I always get a heavy right hand. Twisties are nice but, even at 58, I prefer "power riding" whenever I can get away from the traffic.

Will post more later but, for now I've got to get the bike warmed up for the ride to work. Have a great day all, ride safe and I'll catch up with you all again later...... Joe
