I just retired and moved to Florida. I haven't ridden in many years. Last bike was a 1999 Ducati 750SS but most memorable bikes were Yamaha RD 350's from the early/middle 70's.
My current bike is a 1982 Honda MB5 that I bought new and used it to commute a few miles to school. It has since sat in my garage. It has a little over 500 miles on it. It is in great shape with minor rust and "patina". I rebuilt the carb and cleaned out the tank and put new tires on it. Everything except the headlight works. Looking for local shops in the Palm Beach Gardens area so I can get an old scooter/small bike headlight that I can take apart and Frankenstein to make my headlight work. The standard headlight is a 12v 30/31.5w bulb. I'm looking for and old headlight that has an H4 base and I saw some bulbs for sale that I can use that are close enough to the original wattage (H4 12v 35/35w).
Going to get it registered on Tuesday and will get Antique plates for it. Hoping to find some car/bike shows in the area to bring a few smiles on everyone's face.
