I am replacing the clutches on my 88 Honda shadow 800 and was wondering if anybody knows the torque of the 5 spring bolts that holds the clutch plates together
When you replace the springs hold the clutch plate in place as you thread the bolts. Begin tightening in a criss-crossing pattern turning the bolts in half turn increments to make sure the plate stays vertically level as you tighten the bolts. While a torque wrench should be used it isn't critical but specs call for 9ft lbs of torque.
