I don't actually have a motorcycle at the moment, but I'm shopping.

I rode for about 20 years, but I haven't ridden in over 25 years, so my experience was during the 70s-80s. I see things have changed a bit.

Anyway, I guess "returning rider" is the marketing phrase for my demographic.

Previously owned bikes (iirc) were '67 Honda CL-90, '70 Yamaha R5B, '71 Yamaha R5C, new '73 Yamaha RD350, new '77 Yamaha XS750D, '76 BMW R90S, '75 BMW R90S, '67 BMW R50/2, appx '64 Yamaha TD1 250cc racer.

Most significant were the '76 BMW R90s, preceded by the '73 RD 350.

So I'm not really a beginner, just starting over.

There seems to be a LOT of that going around........including "me." Someone who USED to ride, (for a good amount of time) and then had a long lay-over; only to revisit "riding" again.

You are in good company.

Thanks, guys!

Lucked into "Born to be wild" on the car radio today, cranked it up with all the windows open, pretending to be invisible like on a bike.
