Welcome,

How experienced are you with riding motorcycles/dirtbikes?

As soon as possible, look into going through a MSF riding course and/or finding someone with a bike and learning in an empty lot. Taking the MSF riding course will automatically give you your license and possible lower insurance rates.

Going with a sport bike or cruiser? Uh, you're 16.....SPORT BIKE!!!! I'm just assuming. LoL! :D

Which is why I recommed taking a professional riding course and search to buy a good helmet and safety gear you'll need.

I don't know if I can talk to anyone with such poor taste in football teams.
Yea, what gives leaving a Brown's fan on this forum? At least he isn't a Raven's fan. Hey Uesque, I'll be in your neck of the woods on Monday night. I've got tickets to the Steelers/Miami game. :D

Nice! Let's hope teams without any wins don't play as well as teams with one win.

I'm going to the New England game on the 9th. Friend of mine in Mass. got tickets for his anniversary, and his wife doesn't want to go.

Hijack alert!
Amen to that. They better beat the Fish, then again I thought they would easily handle the Jets. I don't envy you going to the Pats game though. That will almost surely be a beat down - unless of course James Harrison takes out Brady - I can only dream about it. :D

Brownsfan...listen to Urban Coyote. The info in his post is spot on.

The only thing I'll add:

I think it's great that you're giving this plenty of thought first, rather than just going out and buying a bike.

consider reading the following book. It is GREAT:

Their are all dying to answer your questions and tell you how wonderful their particular MC is!

Perhaps a little more on what style & type MC you are thinking of , price range, etc will get the boys focused!

Welcome to the forums and ask all the questions you want!

Ride safe & long,

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I will be signing up for the safety course with my older sister who's husband is a very experienced MC rider. I am looking at the Suzuki GS500F, Ninja 250, and the Ninja 500. I really like the GS500 (but its a suzuki....lol). I have only ridden dirtbikes a few times but ride atv's alot (clutch practice).

walter

this has nothing to do with this butr does anyone know if i remove the bavffles from my m50, will the warranty be voided?
Walter, your right, that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread!! :D

Brownsfan Whats the crack about the "but its a Suzuki"!!!!!! Guess theres no calling for taste. You and I are really starting off on the wrong foot! First off your a Browns fan (GO BRONCOS). Then you put down my ride. Man, you got some nerve!!!! :D

Just kidding you bud, welcome aboard and GO FOR THE SUZUKI!!!!!

Oh yeah, Walter--- I would be pretty sure that only the manufacturer could tell you the answer to that for sure. I wouldn't trust anything like that to someone who thinks they know, talk to your dealer, thats too important of a thing to take for granted!
Haha that was just a joke to suzuki riders i just really like kawasakis, i wouldn't mind owning one lol. what bike from suzuki do you own?
