Hit and Run motorcycle accident, Pelham, NH

On 3/21/09 an SUV, owned by Sheila Bedard, Pelham, NH, came around a corner on Ledge Road, Pelham, NH on the WRONG side of the road and violently struck a motorcycle and 2 people. The driver of the Bedard's SUV did not brake, slow down or stop, leaving two people injured and lying in the middle of the road.

The license plate of the SUV detached during impact. The damaged SUV was recovered in the registered owner's driveway and impounded by the Pelham Police within 10 minutes of the accident. The entire Bedard family was present, refused to say who was driving and watched the Police tow the vehicle out of their own driveway.

The registered owner of the SUV, Sheila Bedard and and her husband, Rick Bedard, (Bedard Avenue - just off of Ledge Road in Pelham) have refused to say who was driving the vehicle, essentially allowing whoever did this to get away with it --- NICE JOB. THEN, two days later they made a false report to their insurance company that the vehicle was stolen. The Pelham Police are still wondering if the Bedards were accusing the Police Department of stealing their SUV.

The motorcycle was totaled. The passengers were injured and as of mid-June are still undergoing medical treatment.

It appears that on top of being totally irresponsible, uncaring and disgusting people, their insurance coverage will not adequately cover the injured parties medical expenses.

Given the family history, it does not appear that anyone in that family will ever "stand up and do the right thing."

Unfortunately, automobile drivers who strike motorcycles very often "hit and run."

Hmmmm they got their own street? How powerful are they?
They all should be arrested for aiding ... what's the word? convict?
Do they own the insurance company too because I find it odd that even police present/report and the insurance still didn't cover the medical expenses.
With my recent accident the other party never responded, but when the police report came in they closed the case right away, with the other party at fault of course.
